MEET DR. CLINT WIRE
BACKGROUND
Dr. Wire grew up in a small town near Olympia, Washington, and has always had a passion for the outdoors. As a child, he spent most of his free time riding motorcycles, snow skiing, and participating in team sports. He and his wife, Valerie, are delighted to call Spokane home. They can often be found hiking with their dog Yogi, playing pickleball, golfing, snow skiing, or enjoying time on the lake with friends.
EDUCATION
Dr. Wire received his dental degree from the University of Utah, graduating first in his class and being inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. He then pursued a Master of Science in Orthodontics at the University of Iowa, where he served as the Chief Resident of the Orthodontic program. After graduation, he practiced for several years in Fort Collins, Colorado, before returning home to the Inland Northwest. He is an active member of the Spokane Dental Society and regularly seeks opportunities to advance his dental education.

MEET THE TEAMTraditional Braces
Metal braces are a time-tested orthodontic solution designed to straighten teeth and correct jaw misalignments, addressing issues like overbite, underbite, crossbite, open bite, gaps between teeth, crookedness, and overcrowding. Braces feature durable stainless steel brackets, carefully bonded to the front of each tooth with a strong dental adhesive. An archwire connects the brackets and acts as the guiding force—Dr. Wire tightens it periodically, applying pressure that gradually shifts the teeth into their ideal positions, resulting in a beautifully aligned smile!
Invisalign
Now is the perfect time to achieve the confident smile you deserve! At Wire Orthodontics, we are proud to be a certified provider of Invisalign in Spokane and Liberty Lake. This advanced clear aligner system offers a discreet, convenient, and comfortable solution to straighten your teeth. Dr. Wire closely monitors your progress to ensure optimal results, combining cutting-edge technology with the attention to detail you can trust.
Phase One Treatment
The primary objective of Phase One orthodontic treatment is to guide the growth and development of the jaw to ensure proper alignment of the upper and lower jaws and to create sufficient space for the eruption of permanent teeth. During early childhood, certain jaw discrepancies—such as excessive upper jaw growth or a narrow palate—can often be identified. When these conditions are detected in children over the age of six, early orthodontic intervention may be recommended. Additionally, if crowding of the front teeth is observed around age eight, early treatment can help create the necessary space and may reduce the likelihood of permanent tooth extractions in the future.
